ization institutions DIN, CEN and ISO concerning the topic of electronic cigarette devices (ingredients, devices and emissions). These international standards define quality and product safety by setting the technical and qualitative requirements for products.
In order to ensure the best possible quality and safety for their products, responsible manufacturers, such as BVTE member companies, comply with the legal require- ments, orientate themselves on internationally agreed standards and take scientific and technical developments into account when developing and manufacturing their products.
These statements regarding the quality criteria of e-cigarettes are regularly reviewed by BVTE and adapted to the current technical and scientific state of the art.
